76fanclubs is a website that connects fans with their favourite bands. It lets bands share music, photos and more directly with their fans. And it also lets fans give their music money directly to bands, instead of to giant retail chains and entertainment conglomerates.

What is a private alpha release?

We are opening 76fanclubs to a few lucky users - mostly showing it to bands - before we throw the doors wide open in the new year. If you’d like to be part of our private alpha release then register for a VIP Pass and we’ll add you to the exclusive queue.

Lots. For one thing 76fanclubs has no advertising or cheesy friend-spam clogging up band pages. 76fanclubs really is all about the music, and about connecting bands and fans. Also, unlike MySpace, which pays out nothing to the bands that use it, 76fanclubs puts its money where its mouth is, and puts bands in charge of their own economy.

What does it cost to use 76fanclubs?

Nothing. Bands can set up a fanclub for free. Fans can sign up and join as many fanclubs as they want free of charge. After a 3-month trial membership in a band fanclub, fans can either pay an annual fee directly to the band to stay in the club, or leave. 76fanclubs takes a small administrative fee but all the rest of the money goes straight to the band.
